European Lobster Homarus Gammarus

The back of the european lobster is blue. The color of the belly is white. One of the claws is more developped. The underpart of the rostrum is smooth. It is caught near coasts in pots. The meat is fine, delicate and flavoursome.

The main quantities are caught from may to august in France, UK and Ireland.
